"The things we’re anxious to see restored are craftsmanship, human energy, a concern with the quality of whatever is being done, and the sort of long-range thinking that involves people in pride-creating endeavors."

February 2007

AC is working towards an agreement with a local landlord to maintain a house which would primarily be reserved for Apprenticeshop participants. This relationship is ideal for people who are looking for a community living environment--apprentices, interns, volunteers, and other participants live together in a large house that is within walking distance of the 'Shop. Rent is quite reasonable for this living arrangement: $200-$300 per month including utilities.

For more details on living in this apprentice house, please contact us.

Some apprentices choose to live offsite and arrange housing independently. Rental rates in the area vary from approximately $450 to $900 per month. We can provide our prospective apprentices and interns with a list of landlords and housing options.

Once you have been accepted into one of our program, you will be able to enter a password protected section of our website to learn more about our housing opportunities.
