  How to Help

Our apprentices, interns, and after school boat builders in the APPRENTICESHOP launched 18 boats in 2006. The boats are beautiful, but perhaps more elegant is the development of care, skill, and resourcefulness in our students. As graduates they’re working throughout New England and the world, in ‘yards, museums, schools, and community organizations.

In 2006, over 300 youth participated in our SEAMANSHIP programs. Interclub events, the high school team, regional regattas, and the International Contests of Seamanship in Genoa, Italy remind young mariners that they are part of a larger maritime community. Local support and scholarships ensure that everyone can attend.

Please consider your contribution to our students and programs this year. Young and old, we work and learn together as students, craftsmen, mariners, and educators. With your help.
