Along with learning how to rig and sail, our youth students (ages 8 to 15) experience the satisfaction of mastering new skills and joining a waterfront community that provides a wide range of maritime activities in midcoast Maine.

We endeavor to make our programs available regardless of financial considerations. Thanks to the generous support from individual donors and foundations, we are able to provide scholarships to area sailors who would not otherwise be able to afford a summer sailing experience.

On the southern edge of Penobscot Bay, Rockland Harbor provides an beautiful, sheltered location with a wide variety of sailing conditions.

Join the sailing club and get out on the water in any one of our classic, traditional and modern sailboats and/or rowboats. As a club member, you get to hone your seamanship skills with friends, family, and other club members while experiencing the waters of Penobscot Bay within Rockland Harbor.
